This blog was inspired by my two former cats who have passed over the rainbow bridge. Lucy and Desi, they almost made it to 20 years old. They were with me during a huge chunk of my life. During some of my hardest days and my greatest achievements. I think of them every day, still grieving their loss. However, some time has passed and I decided I was ready to adopt. Bring new life into our home again. I so enjoyed having a pair, I wanted another pair. Desi was the sweetest tabby ever (and not the brightest) and Lucy, I loved her dearly but her Tortie sassiness only let her love me, she was aloof with the rest of the family. So, the decision was made two tabby kittens! I hope you join us on our new adventures with Oliver and Ivy.
I also plan to write about my little jewelry business. It’s my second passion. I love jewelry, I love stones and so I carefully curate, collect and sell both estate jewelry and artisan handmade jewelry as well.
I’m a gamer, so you may see posts about the latest games I am trying. Anything from Farming Simulator to 7 Days to Die. As well as my VR adventures or misadventures.
Occasionally I may post more serious content, more as a therapeutic outlet for me. My mother was recently diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. So, I may share my tips and tricks I’ve learned through her Chemotherapy, or my own journey to over coming my fears and having my first colonoscopy.
Finally, you may see some affiliate links or products, especially when I share items I recently purchased and enjoy. I also may share from time to time the links to my shoppable closet, those are meant to help keep the website going.
And so we begin the journey of Oliver and Ivy. Never forgetting Lucy and Desi.
